A dice is allowed to fall only inside a semicircular region which circumscribe a square which symmetrically fits into it such that one side overlaps with the diameter of the semicircle. What is the probability that the dice will fall in the square regionplease don't give useless answer please it is my doubt |

Answer» A semicircular REGION circumscribes a circle which SYMMETRICALLY fits into it. If a dice is rolled inside the semicircular part only what is the PROBABILITY that the dice will fall in the circular region. Since, there is no square region PRESENT inside the circle, so it is impossible and that's why probability of the event will be zero i.e.,
