Solution:

Edge of cube after doubling its edge = 8 × 2 = 16 cm

Now, Finding volume of new cube,

We know that,

Volume of cube = a³

Here,

  • a = 16 cm

Therefore,

Volume of new cube,

→ 16³ = 4096 cm³

Volume of new cube is 4096 cm³.
