EDGE of the copper cube ( X ) = 27cm

edge of smaller cube ( y ) = 9 cm

If copper cube is MELTED and made

smaller cubes .

Let the NUMBER of smaller cubes = n

n = ( volume of big cube )/( volume of smaller

cube )

=> n = x³/y³

=> n = ( x /y )³

=> n = ( 27/9 )³

=> n = 3³

Therefore ,

n = 27
