1.

A car is accelerating uniformly from rest to a speed os 20km/hr in 3 seconds. after that driver applies breaks to the car and velocity reduces to 5 km/hr. claculate the accelerstion in both casespls answer fasti will mark as brainliest

Answer»

HEY BUDDY !!!!

HERE'S THE ANSWER..

___________________

# Case I

⏺️ initial VELOCITY ( u ) = 0 // rest

⏺️ final velocity ( v ) = 20 km / h = 5. 55

▶️ ACCELERATION ( a ) = ( v - u ) / t

=> a = ( 5.5 - 0 ) / 3

=> a = 1.83 m / s^2

___________________

# Case II

⏺️ initial velocity ( u ) = 5.5 m / s

⏺️ Final Velocity ( v ) = 5 km / h = 1.38 m / s.

▶️ Acceleration = ( v - u ) / t

=> a = ( 5 - 5.5 ) / t

Here Acceleration is negative because it is stopping or retarding.

HOPE HELPED..
