  • CSA of cone = π * radius * slant Height .
  • CSA of cylinder = 2 * π * radius * Height .

Solution :-

Putting VALUES we get :-

Area of canvas needed to make the tent = π * 52.5 * 9 + 2 * π * 52.5 * 3

→ π * 52.5 [ 9 + 2*3 ]

→ π * 52.5 * 15

→ (22/7) * 52.5 * 15

→ 22 * 7.5 * 15

2475m².

Hence, Area of canvas needed to make the tent is 2475m².
