Answer» tion:Respiration is the process by which ORGANISMS obtain ENERGY by combining oxygen to form end products.There are three types of respiration,namely:1.Internal respiration (occurs in tissues)2.External respiration (occurs in the lungs) 3.Cellular respiration (occurs in both plants and animals which begins in cytoplasm of the cell and ends in mitochondria)Aerobic respiration: The respiration which takes PLACE in the presence of oxygen is know as aerobic respiration.
