3^2(x+2) + 1 = 2.3^x+2

Let 3^(x+2) = A

=> A² + 1 = 2A=> A² - 2A + 1 = 0=>(A-1)² = 0=> A = 1=> 3^(x+2) = 3^0=> x + 2 = 0=> x = -2

Therefore the value of x is -2
