REASON the reason is simply pressure as given in above diagram.......high HEELS have LESS area in contact with the sandy ground therefore they will exert more force and will sink more into sand whereas sandals have more area in contact with the ground hence less force and they will leave very little impact on sand...... hope it HELPS U........
