Calculation:

Let the cost of each cricket bat is x and the cost of each tennis bat is y

Cost of 10 cricket bats = Cost of 5 tennis bats

=> 10x = 5Y

y = 2x ……(1)

Cost of 15 cricket bats + Cost of 2 tennis bats = 4000

=> 15x + 2y = 4000

15x + 2(2x) = 4000 [from EQ (1)]

19x = 4000

x = Rs 210.52

=> y = 2x

y = 2(210.52)

y = Rs 421.04

The cost of 12 cricket bats and 2 tennis bats = 12x + 2y

= 12(210.52) + 2(421.03)

= Rs 3368.3
