x-10: (55-x)-10=4:3

x-10/55-x-10 = 4(55-x-10)

3x-30=220-4x-40

3x-30=180-4x

3x+4x=180+30

7x=210

x=210/7

x=30

therefore age of ram= 30

and age of mohan=20
